Hi I just want to share my experience with panic attacks. I went through it for 6 years and I understand the feeling. One of the things I realized after it is that panic attacks where actually body trying to send me a message. Almost like an alarm going off in your body. Start journaling, who were you before the panic attack and what shifted? There’s something in your life that needs to change whether that be mentally or physical (health, people around you, your job). Things I used to get me out of the panic: start learning how to belly breath every day (look up videos - a lot of us don’t realize we are breathing wrong), when you’re in a state of panic reach for something sour (candy, lemon/lime) it shocks your body and refocuses you, you can also get into a cold shower or put a cold ice pack behind your neck, start meditating every day (start in small increments), eliminate coffee for a bit and lower sugar intake to 25 grams a day (this will help you reset) and switch to calming teas, you can also use a passion flower tincture (i experience heart palpitation due to some thyroid issue & and it’s to calm my mind), listen to reiki music (I recommend Zachariah Grace or Bodhi Spirit on Spotify). Remember to breath and give yourself grace. Don’t be afraid to feel those feels. It’s ok. I know the first time you experience a panic attack you feel like you’re dying. But just remember this. You have the strength to get through it, you are powerful & strong , you’re mind is strong and you’re in control. Tell yourself this every day. I know this may all sound impossible but I promise you it works. I recently made these in the past 2 yrs and it changed my life. Sending you positive vibes ❤️
